USE MILITARY MEMORABILIA AS BAIT....
Use displays of military patches, equipment, etc., to attract veterans to your display. Once there, they will give some hint of recognition,
Here is an example of an exchange
Veteran., "You don't have my Patch."
Voyager, "What unit where you in?" Let them answer and listen.
Voyager: "What Locale or Post do you belong to?"
If the answer is I don't belong, you can let them know of the great deeds our organization does and finish with giving them a nomination form.
Note Always try to close before they leave. It is rare that they will mail it in.
